Born and raised in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, Aron Tekle has had the advantage of having a good traditional and cultural foundation before moving to the Netherlands.
In his twenty plus years living in Europe, Aron had to quickly learn and adapt to the "new" culture and tradition of the West namely the music, art, literature, philosophy, psychology and economy. In his job as an post anaesthesia Care Unit professional, he evaluates, monitors and oversees patients’ care before, during and after surgery ensuring optimum patients’ safety and welfare.
Parallel to his post in Anaesthesia Care Unit, Aron is considered as an autodidact in Biblical Studies, Egyptology, Anthropology and African Studies although, it has proven to be a challenge to find studies in these particular subjects in a Eurocentric education system. Through relevant books, essays and lectures by eminent scholars, however, Aron continues to increase his knowledge on these subjects regardless of the drawbacks. Additionally, for the past sixteen years, Aron is the frontman of the well-known reggae band Roots Creation, another outlet of African consciousness.
As a true and passionate African thinker and Pan-Africanist, Aron is ready to share his knowledge that he has acquired over the last few decades with others. “All things are possible. Who you are is limited by who you think you are.” ~ Papyrus of Ani.
